Internet Connection:
The server currently runs on a 768 kbps Internet connection to my house. This is the
reason for having two network cards. One card in the server connects to my Internet feed
while the other one connects to the internal 100 Mbps network in my house. The server
runs address translation so that all the computers at my house can use the Internet
at the same time. It works very well and is transparent to the internal computers.
The feed from my house connects to my ISP which has an ATM feed to Sprintlink. Sprintlink
connects us to the rest of the world.
