I don't know if they were turbocharged from the
factory.  The one I had I had put on, mine wasn't
trubocharged from the factory.  That was the reason
that ford wouldn't pay for it.  They told me that
the reason they had the engine set up like they did
was that was all the truck could handle in terms of
torque and horsepower.  ATS said at the time that
wasn't true, but I quess it was ford's opinion that
counted.  Ford told me at that time that any
aftermarket parts that were used to enhance would
void the warranty.  When I bought my powerstroke I
asked the ford dealer and they told me basically
the same thing, any aftermarket parts and the
warranty was void.  I am very leary about putting
any parts on one now for this reason.
