Air Bags

Hello all,Do any of you know why no ford trucks F-
250 - F-450 don't have bags? Almost all the half
ton F-150's do.When ordering my PSD last fall,all
the salesman would tell me is it wasn't an option
for my F-250.
Now im sure my truck has quite some mass I really
do belive it's safe when wearing a seat belt.But my
wife does drive it sometimes an i have a 7 an 8
year old.does anyone know why they don't have bags?
