Unfortunately my trucks best is low 19's on and I
am not even sure about that since that's for one
tank versus an average. I am usually in the the 16-
17 area in the summer solo with plenty of highway
miles. Jerry.

-I would expect the auto to get slightly less fuel
-economy, particularly around town where the torque
-converter is often unlocked. But I haven't seen
-any such trend in the mpg figures from the guy
-around here. My auto got about 18.5 mpg on the
-last tankfull, I had about 60 miles of around town
-driving and 110 miles of interstate cruising on
-that tank. I've had as high as 22 mpg and as low
-as 12 mpg. The variability is such that it would
-be very hard to tell due to the differences in
-drivers and trucks. BTW, mine is a 4x4 SC with
-4.10 axles. I now have almost 5000 miles on the
-truck.
