Turbo cool down

This question is aimed at those who have pyrometers
installed in their Powerstrokes.  I'm curious about
what you have found to be the turbo cool down times
under various situations.
1.  Around town driving
2.  Flat highway
3.  After pulling a pass or really high speed.
Does the outside temperature have much of an effect
on EGT and turbo cool-out time?
