Jason,
You know you're a royal pain in the butt when you
walk into the dealership to help your friend buy a
car and the service advisor comes over to you and
hands you three TSB's without even asking about
them.
So I have achieved this status
TSB 97-6-29
1997 F350 
Transmission-E40D-Harsh/delayed 2-3 upshifts -
vehicles with 7.3L Diesel and 49 state calibration -
 F series built through 2/3/97 and all 1996 e-350.
TSB 97-02-21
1997 f350
Diesel Exhaust smell in passenger cabin may be due
to poor connection at inlet or outlet to/from the
turbo
TSB 97-02-10
1997 F350
Exhaust leaks or noise at the joint between the Y
pipe and the exhaust manifold
Now these are listed for F350 because the
dealership knows that what i own. He's checking on
250 but believes it applies to all 250 and 350
diesel. 1997 model year
