Eric i have a 96 F350 PS 4x4 and i've been using
Pennzoil in it since the first oil change i only
changed brands once to Dryden (Castrol heavy duty)
i use Long life 15w40 year round change it every
3000mi and oil still looks fairly clean color wise
not black. i have 15000mi now and truck runs great
no problems so far. Hope this helps. Rob M
