Bob,
Exhaust Gas Recirculation? Really? I know of the
restrictor valve at the turbine outlet, but this is
news. I have also noted that the torque converter
lockup is inhibited when cold, as on my '94 IDI
turbo, which I presume is to encourage warmup of
the ATF.
