I hope I'm not beating a dead horse, but I'm not happy with me stock system. too slow to stop! On emergancy responses.
I just need short answers on what you guys would consider a good upgrade, anything from pads to whole rotor/caliper combo.
Yes, i know that this move will probably void warranty from stem to stern and any future Ford waranty

The easiest change at the present time would go to either of the top 2 grades of Performance Friction's pads for the vehicle. But I would recommend to also change out the brake fluid every two years and going to DOT 4 to insure there will not be any brake fluid boil issues being in WV.
This gets you the higher mue that the marketeers of "race / frozen improved rotors" get using the PF or other friction materials without going to the expense.
