I flushed my breaks tonight and the old stuff looked like coke. My truck is just 31/2 years old. I knew it was due for a flush but really did not think it would look that bad. If your is over a few years old best flush that stuff out. DENNY

Mine looked like Diet Coke after only 2.5 years. I probably should have done it after two years (and seeing that brown stuff in the reservoir) -T

I use the Power Bleeder for my Bimmers, and will get the adapters for the other cars in my tiny fleet. Bleeds the hydraulic clutch system as well.
I've done brakes just about every way there is, and this is the cheapest, fastest, and most effective method I've ever found.
It's possible to make one of these yourself, but it's rare that anyone can make one cheaper than what they sell for new.
Two years is the LONGEST you should go without a full brake system bleed.
