Exactly how is the injector timing adjusted? I just recently bought the truck and moved from Colorado, needless to say, the engine isn't running like it should. Can anyone help?

welcome to the site.

you can adjust the timing by turning the injector pump, just like turning the distrubutor on a gas engine. you will need to make a wrench to loosen the pump bolts. i made mine out of an cheapo offset 9/16 box wrench from Autozone. you have to grind it down so it will fit in the confined spaces around the pump bolts.

if yours is a high-altitude engine, you may be able to turn up your fuel a bit now that you're in lower elevations.

check out the 6.9 forum, you will find all the answers for your engine there.
