Re: Timbrens Ordered Today -- Have a question
For those who have Timbrens...
I was under my truck this evening just looking over the landscape in preparation/anticpation of the installation. Actually I have done this in the past, too, but tonight I noticed something that I hadn't really paid attention to before. Basically, when I install the Timbrens, it looks like they will be coming down on a protrusion from the block under the springs instead of coming down onto the axle. I also noticed for the first time that the block is actually hollow. So is the block going to be stout enough to handle the additional forces put on it by the Timbrens when the LQ horse trailer is on the truck?
The Timbrens were actually ordered on Sunday from Truckspring.com and were delivered to my mom's house today. Now that is some quick shipping!
