Yep, happens all the time with tag trailers like that. Those hitches take a beating after while (might have even had wrong ball size) and get worn out, they love to "jump track" so to speak! More than likey the trailer has a 2 5/16" ball and ding dong in truck had a 2".

That guy should have kept a pintle hitch set up on that trailer. It might have still picked up the rear of the truck (good way to break the parking gear in the trans) but at least it wouldnt have tore the hell out of the truck.

I wont even comment on the actual act of hauling a bulldozer with a pickup truck [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bleh.gif[/img]
