Why doesn't he just take it in and get it fixed? (In the hot lane all the way, of course) My buddy's son has a trucking company here and uses his Duramax HARD running to Montana for parts all the time, and he can't say enough good about it. In fact my friend's about to spring for a brand new one, but doing about zero towing, we don't know if the better fuel mileage versus gas pencils out considering the extra bucks for the Duramax.
