Ok so I have had the new (used w/ 43K) X for three days now and I have figured out some things. My X is a Limited, 4x4, Diesel.

First my front springs are shot. I have about a half inch between the bump stop and spring, which makes for a harsh ride at times.
Next the shocks need to be upgraded. Mine aren't to bad yet, but still need to be addressed.

I have been searching and reading past post for two days now and I need some things cleared up.

I don't want the X leveled, I want about a 2" lift give or take half an inch. I like the idea of using factory springs, but which will give me 2" of lift? I need part numbers if possible. I also need to know which block to use in the rear to achieve 2" of lift? What size block does an X come with from the factory?

I have decided to go with the adjustable Ranchos for shocks and have read a little about them on this board, but if anyone has input on better shocks I would like to hear different opinions.

I own a shop and I plan on ordering the parts on Monday while I have the truck in the paint shop. As I said in an eariler post this is for my wife and she is ready to get her X. Plus I have sold my house in Dallas and I need the X to tow in the coming weeks and would like to have it straight. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
