AIC unit for the X needed???

I was wondering if the 6.0L X should have an AIC(aux. idle control) added to the engine as I know the Super Duty's have this option. I had called my local dealer today and they said that the 6.0L idles at 70PSI and needs 40PSI to hold oil pressure. Apparently the AIC unit is not offered for the X as the Superduty's are. I had asked if there was a calibration difference between the two but the Diesel tech said no,all 6.0L idle higher and don't need the AIC unit. How true is this. Why is it still offered to the Super Duty's with the 6.0L but not to the X? Thanks.
