Re: Exhaust Brake
Well, I have a BD exhaust brake on my 05. I was told by the installer that they don't work as well on an auto trans. It works great on the 6 speeds. As far as warranty, I do believe it will void any warranty if the brake caused the part to fail. I took that chance. I also talked to someone first hand who has ran the BD brake for over 200K on two different trucks and never had a problem. I would talk to your dealer and see what their take on the brake is.
