IMO, go with the manuals. They're cheaper and more reliable. I put Warn hubs on mine last year. Very happy to know for sure that they are locked, and not have to guess if they are working. You'll have to get a kit to change to wheel bearing locknuts to the "old style", unless you can get them from a wrecker (Dana 50 or 60) or have them lying around like I did.
