Re: Knocking noise...ugh!
Hey SpOOk, these things are notorious for groans or creaks (different folks have different names for noises) from the sway bar to axel mount bushings. Grease those up good and see if it helps. I bought the greaseable ones and that fixed me up. The rain my be lubricating those just enough. Was most noticeable for me while going over speed bumps.

BTW, I think there is a TSB about some trucks having one of the sway bar ends installed backwards. When installed properly, they do not look identical, or mirrored. One is reversed when correct. The end link bangs on the frame. Might check that out. A guy named Stan Wright has a really good Ford truck page. Look him up in the user list. I could link you up if you can't find him, he has pictures of the issue if I remember right.
