Re: REAR SPRING #'S ON THE SPRING QUESTION/"W" FRONT SPRING COMMENTS

I installed W codes on my X with great results - ride was firm but not harsh and it gave me about 1.75" of lift and 2.5" of wheel travel. I posted the results of my spring swap here: http://forums.thedieselstop.com/ubbthrea...e=0#Post3204228

I have since added one long leaf (from the stock X rear spring pack) and two short leaves (like the Deaver 2" spring kit) to the W code spring to provide a little more height. My wife still hasn't objected to the firmness of the ride (it's her daily driver) and God knows she wouldn't hestitate to tell me if I "screwed up" her truck. Something about me having enough of my own toys to play with without ruining hers - see signature. I have room now to mount 315/75-16s.
