Re: Turn off with less than 1/4 tank and it won't start back up (Seems like air in fuel?) Wait overnigh

I had the same problem. Pulled the bed off and found both suction strainer assemblies laying in the bottom of the tank. Used a copper 3/8"od tee on the bottom of a piece of fuel hose with clamps-don't see any need for strainer in the tank because all of the fuel that goes in is filtered and there was absolutely no trash in the bottom after 265,000 miles.
