This is very interesting. The height spec for 2008 F350 SRW CC 4x4 is 81 inches (WITHOUT clearance lights) as shown on the following Ford link: http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/s...eatures/specs/

So one would think that WITH clearance lights, the overall truck height would be 82-83 inches. Yet, if I understand correctly, you measured 80.5 inches to the TOP of the clearance lights on the same exact truck model. Is there that much tolerance in these height specs? That's what I was worried about in the first place.
