1st Tow with V-10

Well, I bought the truck in November, but had the trailer in storage until yesterday when I pulled it out to clean it.

I previously pulled the trailer (~7500 lbs dry weight) with a 5.4L Expedition 4WD and it was too much for the Expedition. Adjusted the equalizer hitch according to specs (ball-height, etc.) and it sagged almost to the stops...the trailer is very heavy, including about 1300 lb tongue weight...yikes!

Anyhow, the truck rode perfectly level, pulled like a dream, and sorry PSD guys, it towed very strong with lots of acceleration! I was very impressed. I imagine though, the PSD would have pulled the paint off that trailer, I know the V-10 almost did!

Here, take a look, I'm like a proud daddy...
