First regen at 320 miles

This is the first as far as I know. It happened as I was stopping at my mailbox. I let it idle until completion just to see how long it takes. It took 8.5 minutes at 1100 rpm. The mpg on the computer dropped .2 during the regen. The exhaust was hot but not any hotter than my 6.0 while ideling at 1100 rpm, or it seemed to me by just feel of the hand. There was a slightly offensive smell emitted also. From now own I will just continue whatever I am doing just as if it weren't in regen. Our manual dosen't get into detail how we should treat the regen.
