Re: F350 CC DRW 4X4 6.4L Lariat Black with TowBoss (4.3 Rear End)

I am still getting used to the 4.3. My last two trucks had 3.73 axles. The engine does rev higher at highway speed. I think it runs around 2150 rpm at 55MPH. I will get a good reading next time I drive. The engine is so quiet compared to the 6.0 and 7.3 that I don't notice the higher revs unless I am looking for it

The mileage is definitely better beelow 2000 rpm. I still have less than 600 miles on the engine, so I am still going according to the computer reading for mpg. I'll post more accurate results as soon as I get them.

The ride is incredible!! I love driving that truck! The 4x4 is very level and the truck sits lower than my 2006 SRW did. Not sure why... Maybe the size of the tires? My 2006 had 20" rims, the 2008 has 17"....

I just found my camera today, so I'll post some pics tomorrow! I just ordered a Leer 100XQ cap for it too! Can't wait....

You'll love your truck!
