Re: Looking to buy Excursion

I have driven a SD with the caption chairs, and I prefer the bench up front. How difficult is it for an adult to climb in to get to the 3rd row seat?

Thanks,
Brian Moore

Not bad at all, if you move the 2nd seat forward as it's designed to do. Problem is, mostly with kids, they're up and over before you get it moved.

For the kids, they are going to be all over heck's 1/2 acre, anyway. Basically, once the second row seat is moved it is fairly easy. My 85 year-old aunt can do it just fine. The rear door on an Excursion is about 4 inches longer than in the trucks and it affords good access to the third row seat. Again, just my 2 cents. Craig.
