The F-150 is rated extremely high and is probably the best 1/2 ton on the market. The Triton family of engines have proven thier worth over and over again. Though I prefer the SD's looks and functionality, it isn't what everyone wants/needs. A lot of my friends own F-150's and love them. They are lighter and ride smoother and can still tow around 7500 lbs.
If you do decide to go for the F-150, are you going to wait for the '04 rebuild with the 3 valve 5.4L or an '03?
