Bittorrent has to be the most insecure way to go about things; by design, anybody can see what anyone else is uploading/downloading.
honestly, I'd stick with iTunes these days. partly 'cos the cost is low enough for me, but also iTunes makes it easy for me to find other music I might be interested in.
