If it only comes on when not towing--friend of mine with an '06 got it to stop by hitting the 'reset' button while it was displayed.
Otherwise, take it to Ford, its warranty work since a trailer is not involved. If it acts up with the trailer, Ford seems to always think
"its the trailer, dummy"--not the truck.
