How many miles on your tranny?
Pump does not usually make seal leak.
Can cause sloppy shifts, slipping, slow shifts.
Can also cause TC and clutches to shed material too.

Pump seals do go bad without over heating the tranny fluid.

If they pull tranny to fix seal might consider a new TC while it is off as more times than not the TC go out before the rest of the stock trans.
