the FAQ in the mfg link addressed the issue of water ingested into the system...it is suppose to have weep holes...no real view to see how its set up ...I would have to put an eyeball on it first...

I was thinking along the lines of a hood scoop opening toward the windshild (ala Nascar) with a big-azz piece of foam sealing between the filter and the hood...the hood would have to be modified but since its fiberglass there might be a way to alter it to get a big piece of square foam that would seal between the filter and the hood...
similar to medium duty trucks that have an air cleaner set-up with the intake piping going to the sides of the tilt hood...tilt hood has foam that seals to the top of the air filter...
