Re: Fuel Filters

I'm getting ready to change mine again. I get my fuel filters at International for about $35. The first time I changed the filters, I got a diesel bath. Last time, though, after reading posts on here, I figured it all out and didn't even spill a drop. I just park the truck with the nose slightly downhill, unscrew the drain valve and drain the filter housing. Then I remove and replace the filter and turn the key on and off a couple of times before firing it up. Yes, the lower filter is a major PITA and could have been located in an easier-to-service location.
