Re: HIH vs HOH
My HIH consists of 1/2" air brake hose, which is my fuel line. The coolant flows through 3/4" heater hose. I get the air brake hose tape the ends and wet the outside with coolant (it acts as a lube) and slide it into the heater hose. Next I get two compression fittings the size is 1/2" copression to 3/4" NPT male. I take off the nut and remove the ferulle and drill out the fitting with a 1/2" drill bit, put some pipe dope on the threads and put it together. I have installed 10 kits so far like this 2 gave me a little trouble leaking coolant my fix was to put a rubber o-ring between the nut and ferulle.
P.S. I'm sorry you wasted your money on a Greasecar kit. I like their solenoids and they got a cool little filter but other than that . We installed one a Mercedes and he always has problems.
