Biocide needed?

Does B99 need biocide?

From the little that I have read it can grow bugs like diesel. Does anyone know if they are the same bugs that live in diesel?

I noticed that Racor biocide is just for diesel; doesn't mentioned bio-diesel. Any other product made for bio-diesel?

I don't have any problems yet but I am just wondering.

I had a 5 gallon plastic can of diesel setting around for over a year and it looked like it had a little black stuff in the bottom. I emptied the can and tried to clean the black with a little bio but the black didn't come up. So I put soappy water and bleach and let it set half a day and it cleaned up. From this I guess bio and diesel have the same bugs.
