Re: Anyone tried this "diesel secret energy" additive instead of making biodiesel?

Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

I use the stuff. This is my second summer season using it. This process doesn’t work well in cold weather. I put on 25-30,000 miles a year, but only use blended WVO from May through October.

In reading other posts here and on other forums, I probably will discontinue using the magic elixir when my supply runs out and just make my blend without it.

As far as the costly repairs that I will have using this method, I’m still waiting. I did have to replace my IP at the end of my first season using blended WVO. But there was 198,000 miles on it. I also had to replace my radiator, clutch and have my tranny rebuilt last fall too, but I don’t think the blended WVO caused that,

The DSE magic elixir probably is a scam, but like was said before, at least it got some of us started down the alterative fuels road. And with time, who knows, I might even cross over to the biodiesel side someday.
