Even with the FX4 option the front shocks (don't know about the rears) are the limiting factor as to how much articulation there is. They top out (very hard on shocks) before anything else in the front suspension. I found this out while installing my F550 springs. I jacked the front up and let the axle droop (spring wouldn't come out). Then I disconnected the shocks which let it droop some more (still not enough). Next I disconnected the sway bar end links which finally let it droop enough to get the old springs out.
If street driven the stock shocks will work ok though. Just don't get your front end airborne while playing around.
