Re: Which places to stay away from?

First off, Oldgreaser, that is way to in depth

Like stated small restaurants are the best but some are defiantly better than others.

VFW Post - 15 gallons a week (Good stuff, 15 gallons weekly)
Moose Lodge - 10 gallons a week (but still good)
Italian restaurant - Left to be desired (always has spices in it and never changed. 10 gallons a week)
Chinese Restaurant - oooo Good stuff (always changes her stuff out regularly. Always order from once a week)
The Tomahawk Restaurant - Excellent oil. Changed often which usually means 15 gallons a week. We leave big tip
Barb's Restaurant - Barb is a very cheap woman, by that I mean in 1 week she will go through hopefully 10 gallons and its the blackest stuff I've seen (compares to glycerin). We dont go there often
There are 3 other places but you get the point

Basically get all the oil you can and figure out what is the best stuff. Usually as long as they dont dump water in it you'll be happy.

The busier the place usually means the dirtier the oil will be

And Liquid shortening makes just as good bio diesel as canola but it will gel sooner. Personal note, I hate liquid shortening
