When I took delivery of my 08 the dealer, unbeknownst to me, had stolen the sensors for another truck. I drove it for 3 days without sensors before the TPMS light and message came on. Every time I start the truck the text and icon come up on the display. You cab clear the message but not the icon.
So you do not get chimes just annoying display messages. I'm supposed to go in next week and have the sensors installed.
