Are you getting your oil in cubies or are you pumping drums?
If in cubies let them settle and pour off only the floating clear oil.
If pumping drums NEVER collect from the bottom of the drum.

To de-water I heat the drum to 150*F which is well insulated then let it cool
slowly. Then I drain the water/sediment/sludge/fats from the bottom drain. I use the hot pan test to check my oil and it has always been dry.
