ddduallyfan,

My apologies up front, I wasn't intending to put you directly in the cross-hairs, just the comically remark got under my skin a bit, especially after putting in some long hours under the truck trying to get it right. I wasn't directing anything solely towards you. I'm happy that you don't have troubles with your rig and hope that you don't ; luckily for me it wasn't something truly major that would have caused me a visit to the service department, not to mention more $$$$$ !!!

I appreciate everyone's help in solving this dilemma that I had. On the lighter side, took a drive in the truck today and I'm really noticing a difference with the way it's running. I'll assume it's attributed to the new EGR valve, but I have to believe some of it stems from the fuel that I had. Luckily I was able to salvage all the fuel that I thought was tainted and causing my troubles, and I'm burning that in the truck ; not to mention it helps a bit on the wallet. It runs much quieter and cranks up / fires off sooner than before. In my opinion, I'll continue using the TCW3 2 cycle oil with the fuel.

Again my apologies to you, ddduallyfan.

Joe
