As far as filters, I'm about to change them on my new (to me) '03 X. I don't what cheap quality filters, but I'd like the best deal. So who sells the best ones for the cheapest amount? Should I look for retailers that sell Racor filters? Are they packaged under different names? I have a NAPA pretty close by, otherwise, most places are a bit of a drive. Is it possible to still get them from International?

Like I said, I'm new to the 6.0, and I'm reading and learning.
Well for 1 thing, you can loosen and tighten by hand. Also use 6mm hex if you want. In a worst possible scenario you get a vise-grip or channel lock around it to loosen it. As far as the filters, the cheap ones probably won't be the best. Make sure what you buy has the water media around it. The ones for a late model IH LCF v-6 should fit. International should be able to help you with these.
