You didn't say whether it was gas or diesel, but assuming it is diesel since you're talking priming. Can't help you with your problem, but if you go to this site: Yesterday's Tractors - Discussion Forums You'll find lots of people with lots of knowledge on vintage tractors. They've got general boards and brand specific boards. Not that you won't find help here, but when it comes to tractors or any machine you can never have to much information and help.
