A few questions regarding ordering.....
I'm thinking about unloading my 2003 6.0L and getting into a new 2008. I went through the ordering process 5 years ago but have forgotten a few things so I have some questions.
How do I find out dealer invoice price?
What is the current timeline on ordering and receiving a new 2008?
When will the 2009's be available to order?
What are most people paying above dealer invoice?
How many of you use the X-plan? Is it a big deal to the salesman when you produce a PIN when dealing on a truck?
Regarding incentives: Do incentives change that much from month to month? What I'm really getting at is should I expect incentives to decrease in the coming couple of months?
Regarding trade-in: How much difference in price should I expect from a dealer compared to what my truck is worth in trade-in value according to KBB, NADA, or Edmunds? I've never traded in a vehicle, I always kept them or sold them outright. I know I can get more by selling outright but if the time comes and my new truck arrives and I haven't sold the old one, I might just trade it in if the dealership offers me a fair value.
Sorry for the questions but when your talking about possibly a $45,000-$50,000 deal, I want to get it right.
