The more I think about this..seems like either one would work...the exhaust gas goes into the turbo and right back out...some heat can get absorbed by the turbo..and of course the exhaust has now traveled another couple of feet. So I would expect a lower reading than pre-turbo...but it should be consistent...ie...200 degree's at high temps.....very litle when idling, etc... That said, I have asked a tech at EDGE to go run a test..since they have an 08 in their fleet and send me the results.
