If you are like me you will like the effects of biodiesel. The smell is more pleasing and the motor gets a bit smoother. Good lubrication for the fuel system. Biodiesel is a good solvent. It will clean out the fuel system of reg diesel sludge. This is where some problems can come from. I started off slow with b5 and gradually worked up to b50. I changed my fuel filters after every four fill ups. I put around 1-2 more gallons of bio on each fill up. Bio will gel at around 40 to 32 deg f dependant on feed stock. So in winter time I don't dare to go over b50. #2 diesel or #1 diesel will bring down the gel point considerably according to my fuel manufacturer. Just keep a spare fuel filter handy in case you need to change one on the fly.
