There is a message on the information center. Job 1 trucks didn't have it, it started with job 2 I believe, but it can be put on job 1s with a flash I believe. All you can do about a regen is let it run its course while your driving, but if you are in park, you can shut the truck down, or put your foot on the break, and it stops and starts again when you restart.
