ScanGaugeII - is it any good?

I was wondering if anyone has used the ScanGaugeII. Is it any good as a Trip Computer? What about as a code reader? I assume that since it is getting its data from the Truck Computer that its accuracy may be similar to the factory ones - which I have not heard a lot of good about (my truck doesn't have one).

Thanks,

Mike.
