I put in new wiper motor
Thanks to everyone that posted,especially Pete...wow that freaking guy has saved me some big $$$.
I can honestly say that the 88 f-250 was a bear to take apart to get to the motor.I`m glad I did it and I can help anyone else who needs it. Please feel free to email or post.
Process of elimination and the sound of the motor making a noise w/o the arms moving led me to guess it was the motor. I purchased at Autozone for 47.00 and gave them the old one for the core thing exchange.
Works fine.The black box seemed to be in a good place w/ a screw on the bottom bracket to hold in place.Unscrewed and took it down to the floor board and inspected.Looked good and it made a clicking sound when the key was on.I did break off the solder joint wire to the ground(it is a wire that goes to the side of the switch and then to a body ground) that goes to the switch and that was a ***** to solder back on.Next time(hope not) I will unscrew the ground wire and solder should be a little easier...it was late and I was not thinking clearly..lol...

Blended DSE fuel in rear tank.Started 2-25-08 @ 132000 miles.Changed O-rings,rubber fuel lines,cleaned injectors,changed fuel and air filter.Changed Wiper motor 4-4-08.Cleaned injectors again 10-1-08 136000 miles.11-4-08-Changed all fuel line clamps and glow plugs(Wellman)
