Thanks guys

Over three years I've owned my 90 F-250 IDI and never had more than high speed wipers. Not so any more! Low, High and Intermittent is what we now have, thanks to you all!

On mine, the black box is attached with one torx head to the frame for the dash. It is right above the e brake pedal. Daurn near impossible to get a hand up there from the bottom side. Wound up pulling the sub panel (lights, wiper, tank selector) off and pulling it through there. No wires "plug" into the black box on mine.

30 minutes to find the damn thing... aggravating
30 seconds to locate and re solder the broken connections... lovely
5 minutes to put things back in their place.... nice
Knowing where it is the next time... priceless!
