I say stick with your perfectly good truck for now and save a ton of cash doing so. I wouldn't buy a new 6.4 unless the current truck you

are driving was totaled in a wreck and you had no other choice. I would wait until after 2010 and see what happens with fords new

engine being created now. The 6.4 will soon be discontinued like the 6.0 so why jump now when most will be jumping again like they did

with the 7.3 and the 6.0 and the 6.4. Soon the 6.4 will be called a diesel sucking turd compared to the newer stuff coming out. That is

what always happens, and newer thing comes out and people swear it is the biggest baddest thing out their and then it is replaced by

a better thing and people jump ship and swear how much better and amazing the new thing is over the once called biggest baddest

thing that now is called a turd. Talk to any respected mechanic and they will tell you the 7.3 was and still is the best diesel engine

ford ever had.
